A lot of times some of these kids get overlooked because they do not play at big schools, and I feel that they deserve the spotlight and the opportunity to be seen by college coaches as well. It is important that we highlight as many prospects as possible. At Prep Redzone Florida, we are different than most sites where we want to emphasize guys that are not being heavily recruited and try to promote them, so they also get an opportunity to play in college and get the exposure they need and deserve!
Lyle Bennett- Hilliard c/o 23
6’2 175lbs
Bennett started for Hilliard last year as a freshman and led them to a 7-5 record and a spot in the regional semifinals and passed for 1133 yards 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions last season. He also rushed for 113 yards on the ground. Bennett shows adequate arm strength and good touch on deep passes. He is not just a pocket passer; he has the athletic ability to scramble around and make plays with his feet. He also shows the ability to throw on the run with accuracy. I really look forward to watching Bennett over the next several seasons and expect him to develop into a high-end college quarterback prospect.

Sam Cannon- Dixie County
6’1 160lbs
Cannon is a dual-threat quarterback who plays in a triple-option and led Dixie County to the first round of the state playoffs last season. Cannon did not have a lot of passing yards mainly because they were a predominantly running team, he does show athleticism to be able to potentially convert to running back or wide receiver at the next level if need be. He rushed for 646 yards and six touchdowns last season. He is an outstanding athlete with really good vision and speed. When he did throw the ball, he did show the ability to make the right read and he does have above-average arm strength. Cannon completed 50% of his passes and threw for 949 yards 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions last season showing that he has the ability to be a quarterback prospect at the next level

Tyler Jefferson- Fort White c/o 23
6’2 200lbs
Jefferson is a dual-threat class of 23 QB Prospect and he has seen his recruiting explode over the summer. He has gotten offers from Yukon, Maryland, Kentucky, and Florida Atlantic. Jefferson possesses a cannon arm at such a young age, he shows the ability to keep plays alive with poise while continuing to have his eyes downfield, shows zip and touch on short-to-intermediate routes and above-average touch on deep passes, as a runner is very smooth and fluid, and has the ability to stop and start and make would-be tacklers miss. Jefferson has good vision and cutback ability and consistently shows the ability to tuck and run for long gains. When he sets his feet, he delivers strikes. The sky’s the limit for Jefferson as he possesses size, athleticism, and good arm strength; he will be a high-level power 5 recruit by the time he is a senior.
