Ranked number 256 in the Class of 2021 rankings, the quarterback outplayed a higher-ranked opposing quarterback and more importantly led his team to a 42-12 season-opening win against the Parsons Vikings.
Here is a scouting report on the Bulldogs who produced in the season opener.
Offensive Stars of the Game
QB, Bo Dilliner Bo Dilliner 5'8" | 155 lbs | QB Anderson County | 2021 State KS , 5’8”, 155 (’21 Ranked No 256) – Dilliner finished with five touchdowns in Anderson County’s victory. He threw for three, rushed for one, and returned a punt 38-yards for another. He completed 12 passes for 250 yards and rushed for 124 yards on nine carries. A two-way player for the Bulldogs, Dilliner is not afraid to hit people on defense. He had great protection all night, and never panicked in the backfield, despite a handful of bad snaps in the shotgun. He has a big arm and a larger heart. Colleges in Kansas will not be sorry in making a run at the small-school talent.
WR, Braden Blaufass, 5’10”, 155 – Add this sophomore to your scouting spreadsheets. He was Dilliner’s primary target in the game. He finished with four catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns. He has breakaway speed and runs solid routes.
RB, Fisher Galey, 6’0”, 207 – Galey got the bulk of the carries in the pass-first offense. He is a tough runner who finished with 25 yards rushing on nine carries. Galey caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Dilliner. The junior left the game early with leg cramps but will be a player to watch in 2020. Galey also had three tackles on defense.
Defensive Stars of the Game
DL, Dalton Kellerman,– Kellerman, a junior, helped spark a balanced Bulldog defense that pressured the Parsons quarterback the entire game. He finished with a team-high seven tackles and was in on two sacks. He is a big strong defensive lineman who projects as an NAIA or JUCO talent.
DL, Chaylin Peine, 6’5”, 245– Penne, also in the Class of 2022, had six tackles for the Bulldogs. He is bigger than Kellerman and the two caused Viking blockers fits all night.
DL, Gabe Clawson,– Clawson has a nose for the football and the ability to fight offer blockers. The junior finished with three tackles and a sack. He will be one to keep watching has his game progresses.
