Even though several schools in this area have long produced quality talent, the spotlight is not always on this area – and while very few camps and combines are hosted in the region, much of the attention is being drawn to the area by local coaches who go on social media to promote their prospects.
Because we visit every area of this state – promoting and getting athletes out there – during this pandemic - things have not been that easy.
Today, we bring you five prospects from the southwest Florida area to check out.
Jacob Azizi, QB, Fort Myers Bishop Verot. One of those do everything you can to help your team win athletes. Whether it’s passing the ball or using his legs to move the chains, here is a very gifted quarterback who will be a major catalyst this coming season for this improving program.

Jon Fenelon, OL/DL, Fort Myers. This two-way standout is quick, athletic and anticipates plays as well as anyone on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, he is aggressive and will stick with you for the duration of the play. This is the kind of football player that head coach Sammy Sirianni and this program have long produced.

Jhordan Inniss, CB/FS, Naples Palmetto Ridge. Yet another versatile football prospect who has been under the radar his first few years, but this coming season will reveal a physical defensive back, who can cover, tackle and hit. His play as a receiver is equally as impressive. He not only runs crisp routes, but his hands are impressive – and we already know what he can do with the ball. No matter where he lines up, he will help this team win games.

Franck Pierre, WR, Immokalee. One of the prospects who has been on the radar for three years – and now that he is headed to his final season – there is a lot to be excited about. At 6-2, he is strong, quick and is tough to put just one defensive back on. He is a mismatch waiting to happen – and this program plans on using him plenty during his final year at the high school level.

Emmanuel Saintluc, WR/CB, Cape Coral Island Coast. No matter where you line this young man up, he will get the job done. Not the biggest or the fastest, but his talent level is impressive. Get him in space and he will move the chains as a receiver – out wide or in the slot. Defenively, he has the knowledge and athleticism to stick with bigger pass catchers. It comes from playing the receiver position and knowing what to anticipate. He will play somewhere in college.
