As mentioned before, just because a prospect didn’t make a certain preseason team does not mean that they can’t ball, and all of these kids mentioned can make a significant impact at the next level. Let’s get to know some of these rising juniors and breakdown their game a little bit. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy!
Bo Hanson (Mineral Point) LB/WR. In 2019 as a sophomore posted 50 tackles, 2 interceptions, 1 FF. Does a good job of disengaging from blocks but could utilize his hands more. Speedy LB who is a good tackler and has some pass-rushing skills to boot. His speed also helps him gain depth efficiently when he’s in coverage. Has a good frame to put on more weight as well. Sophomore year
Isaac Quimby (Grantsburg) RB. 5’10, 160 lbs. Shows some good speed, shiftiness, and vision in his two game films. Smaller back but has a good frame and is a strong runner for his size. Had some impressive highlights in the two games he has on his Hudl. Looks like a really exciting RB to watch. vs. Webster vs. Flambeau
Trevor Anderson (Grantsburg) 6’1, 230 lbs. In 2019 had 83 tackles, 4 TFL, 1 FF. Has great size for the LB position and can play ILB or OLB. Strong kid who can get off blocks well and has no problem sticking his head in there and laying the wood. Gets through the LOS quick with a good first-step and is strong for his age and has a good frame to add weight. Tackles a little high for my taste and could keep his feet moving more in the open field but those are easy enough to work on. Definitely has a high ceiling as a LB. Sophomore year
Noah Gage (Marathon) RB. 5’9, 180 lbs. High-energy and passionate football player. Has a strong lower body that helps him run through weaker tackle attempts and has that low center of gravity that can be really beneficial for RBs. Has a solid one-cut ability as well. Good frame to add more weight as well. Keeps his feet churning through contact and shows a playmaking ability on the defensive side of the ball as well. Sophomore highlights
