Top Wisco Standout 2021s Not All-State + Watchlist: Division 4
In this article:
One of the downsides of releasing something like a PrepRedzoneWI Preseason All-State Team is that a lot of really intriguing prep football prospects get left off the list. In this age of COVID-19 it is particularly important to get the 2021 seniors some exposure, so we decided to release an additional list of 2021 recruits that were not named to the two-deep All-State teams. All these kids can make an impact on a college football squad, and I hope you enjoy their film and a quick little breakdown of their film as well. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy!
Studs (in no particular order..)
Logan Hissom (Northland Pines) DB. 5’9, 165 lbs. Good athlete who made an impressive interception as a Cover-2 safety in the tape and showed a ton of proficiency in the return and kickoff coverage game. Lined up all over the field for Northland Pines and is a tough kid who will put a lick on you if need be as well. Junior Season Highlights
Austin Renhack (Columbus) DL. Stout defensive lineman with some big playmaking ability and some noticeable pass-rushing skills. Strong and a good tackler. 2019 Junior highlights
William Cotter (Columbus) QB. My man Will Cotter has a TRUCK STICK and it makes for a very fun Hudl to watch. I really like his toughness in the pocket and his accuracy as well. Can get outside of the mobile and does a good job of setting his feet to get rid of the ball. Runs the read-option efficiently as well. Junior highlights
Titus Graden (Northwestern) OLB. 6’5, 220 lbs. @Titus_Graden Very long athlete who lays the wood a couple of times in his junior tape and is a high effort edge defender. Tackles high, but is strong and has a ton of room to put on some weight. Really like his he flys around to get to the football. Highlights
Colin Trautt Colin Trautt 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Northwestern | 2021 State WI (Northwestern) RB. @colin_trautt Explosive running back who made a good run at the All-State list and is a big kid running that rock. Kids look a little hesitant to try and tackle him sometimes. Patient runner as well and has a couple good moves plus the ability to run through weaker tackle attempts. Junior Season
Jesse Day (River Valley) LB. 5’10, 170 lbs. Really like his coverage ability and aggressiveness as the point of contact. Also shows some speed off the edge and accelerates through contact as well. JR Season
Nathan Streiff (New Glarus/Monticello) WR. @StreiffNathan It’s hard to regret not putting Streiff on the All-State team after rewatching Streiff’s tape . Dangerous release off the LOS, can play outside or from the slot, will go over the middle, and is a threat after the catch. Does a good job staying on his markers and selling his route at the last moment with head fakes and keeping his body in a good position. 2019 Junior Season
Cole Walter (New Glarus/Monticello) DE. 6’1, 230 lbs. Well-built defensive lineman with the ability to play on the interior of the DL as well as out on the edge at 5tech or beyond. Really like his hands off the line and he uses them efficiently to beat lineman in the pass game or run game. Strong tackler and is hard to move of the LOS. Can definitely play scholarship football. Junior Highlights
Stephawn Easley Stephawn Easley 5'9" | 170 lbs | DB University School of Milwaukee | 2021 State WI (University School) DB. 5’9, 175 lbs. @StephawnEasley Hard-hitter defensive back with good hips and some good make-up speed. Excels in run-defense and it’s really hard not to like his physicality at the DB position. Looks to have experience playing both or zone. highlights
Dominic Skelton (North Fond Du Lac) DT. 6’, 300 lbs. @DominicSkelton2 In 2019 posted 27 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 FF. Strong run-defender who projects as a 3tech or NG in college. Moves well down the LOS locating the ball. Tough to double team. 2019 Junior Highlights
Sean Ashenfelter (North Fond Du Lac) DB/ATH. GPA 3.94. 3-year starter. @Seabasgebfelte1 Shows some good speed in the first clip of his highlights, and is a versatile athlete who lined up at CB, S, and WR for his team. Good tackler and looks like a technically sound DB. Junior Year Highlights
Jack Teska (Richland Center) LB. 5’10, 185 lbs. @JackTeska Looks good for 185 pounds and is the MLB for Richland Center having to set the defense and make sure the DL and LBs are positioned correctly before the snap. High-energy, hard-hitting linebacker with good tackling technique going low, wrapping up if needed, and keeping the feet moving. Does a good job sifting through and disengaging from blocks. Junior Season highlights
Brock Banker (Richland Center) CB/WR. 6’1, 170 lbs. @brock_buckets Physical football player with proficiency tackling, blocking, and catching the football. Junior SZN highlights
Kelson Kiln (St. Croix Central) WR/TE. 6’3, 185 lbs. Big-bodied wideout who can line up as a TE as well. Dangerous on seam routes and intermediate routes as well. Highlights
Jared Pelishek (Wrightstown) RB/LB/SS. 6’1, 185 lbs. @JPelishek Good sized kid who lined up all over the field for Wrightstown and moves well at LB and RB position. Strong tackler who covers the field well. 2019 Highlights
Jaxson Retrum (Lake Mills) WR/DB. 6’4, 175 lbs. @JaxsonRetrum Good looking WR prospect who can track the ball well and use his size to his advantage. His long strides help him as a threat in the deep game, and he’s also a willing blocker who can lay the wood if he needs to. Junior Season
John Goomey (Platteville) 5’11, 210 lbs. I’ll cut the analysis short here, Goomey needs to be playing college football after he graduates and he can no doubt play at a scholarship level. Complete player who can do it all in all three phases of the game. Great size, speed, physicality. Defense 2019 Season Offense 2019 Season
Ethyn Meyer (Lodi) LB/RB. 5’10, 180 lbs. @EthynMeyer Good technique as a tackler and can read his guards well to locate the ball. Also helped as a RB on offense. 2019 Season Highlights
Carson Lee (Baldwin-Woodville) RB/WR. 5’10, 185 lbs. Shifty with the ball in his hands. Has some good speed and can make an impact from the RB or WR position. Junior highlights

Sam Rodriguez (Kettle Moraine Lutheran) DL/OL. 6’5, 250 lbs. Drives his feet well and looks like a tough run defender to block 1 on 1. vs. Waupun
Jacob Hunkins (Wisconsin Dells) RB. 5’9, 200 lbs. I really like Hunkins game. Flys out of the backfield and is built really well for a RB. Runs with the truck stick always ready and shows some good hands out of the backfield as well. Really strong runner who keeps his feet moving and can’t just be tackled by the first defender. 2019 Highlights
Frankie Rasmus Frankie Rasmus 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Xavier | 2021 State WI (Xavier) CB. 5’11, 175 lbs. @RasmusFrankie Has experience playing man and zone as a cornerback and shows good eye discipline in his getting his head around when hip to hip with the receiver. Tracks the ball and puts his body in good position to play a play on the ball as well. Junior Highlights
Nolan Lamers (Little Chute) RB/CB. 6’1, 180 lbs. @nolanlamers I’m a big fan of Lamers tape. Good sized kid who made some big plays as a RB and is athletic enough at his size to help as a DB. Shows good technique as a CB and has no hesitation in tackling. 2019 Highlights
