Alemany defensive end [player_tooltip player_id="25106" first="Myles" last="Williams"] announced his commitment to Cal on Saturday.
Williams, who played his junior season at Calabasas High, chose Cal over four other Pac 12 schools that offered him. He also had offers from Boston College, Nevada and San Diego State.
He was heavily recruited by Cal defensive line coach Andrew Browning and quality control coach Michael Bruno.

Williams told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he has not taken an official visit to Cal but plans on making a trip to Berkeley sometime next week. It is still the dead period, so he can’t talk to any coaches or enter the facilities, but he can tour the campus on his own.
“I’m really excited about my decision, I feel like I found the perfect fit,” Williams told Biggins. “There were a lot of things I liked about Cal but the biggest thing for me was my relationship with the coaching staff."
Williams is the second defensive end to commit to Cal along with [player_tooltip player_id="25057" first="Akili" last="Calhoun"] of Liberty High. He is the second player from Southern California to commit to Cal along with [player_tooltip player_id="25046" first="Mavin" last="Anderson"] of Mission Viejo.
