One of the top pass catchers in Florida, Burke was convinced that he would play a huge role in the success of the program for years to come after committing to the Gators over Georgia, Auburn and Florida State, among others.
During his junior season at Trinity Christian Academy, he caught 37 passes for 831 yards and nine touchdowns.
In the SEC, where defensive secondaries are physical, his size and speed are a perfect match for the kind of prospects that the Gators have been recruiting. Many believe his frame could easily hold another 15-20 pounds.

ELITE RECEIVERS ARE EVERYWHERE IN 2020
While Burke is certainly one of the best in the country, Florida continues to roll out some impressive senior pass catchers. Here is a glance at five of them:
[player_tooltip player_id="32805" first="R.J." last="Garcia II"], 6-1, 175, Tampa Berkeley. What has happened over the past nine months since he’s been on the field playing is this young man has gotten bigger, faster and much more mature. This Kansas State commitment has worked hard to become the player he is – and that will help this two-sport (basketball) standout this coming season as he gets ready for college.

[player_tooltip player_id="32651" first="Jacolby" last="George"], 6-0, 170, Plantation. This University of Miami commitment is someone who has been on the radar screen for three years – as not only an outstanding pass-catcher who went over 1,000 yards last season, but as an athlete who can help anywhere on the field – including defense, special teams and kicker and punter. Solid talent who is eager to start his final season at the high school level.

[player_tooltip player_id="32808" first="Artez" last="Hooker"], 5-9, 165, St. Petersburg Lakewood. This is the kind of football talent that every team needs to have. There is simply nothing he won’t do to help his team win, and last season, he more than proved that with key receptions. He is fast, instinctive, has tremendous hands and is very athletic. Looks to turn every play into long gains. He’s a nightmare for defensive teams – because you can never fully cover him during a course of a game.

[player_tooltip player_id="32814" first="Corey" last="Palmer"], 6-0, 175, Bradenton IMG Academy. If you are going to try and stop this quality football talent, remember if you press him at the line of scrimmage, he has the strength and knowledge to get away quickly. Want to give him room – understand that this native of Camden, N.J. has the quickness and breakaway speed to make sure that you won’t make a habit out of it. Also, he is an outstanding blocker that will more than give his team a huge advantage. Big time prospect who will only get better this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id="32818" first="Dequan" last="Stanley"], 5-10, 160, St. Augustine. Yet another of those versatile talents who will do it all. Catch balls and run away from the secondary, pick off passes as a defensive back or return kicks the distance, he does it all. This University of South Florida commitment is an electric player that is will have a huge senior season.
