THE SCOOP ON KINCHENS. For as many games as he has played and made a major impact in, you would think that those who evaluate and rank players for a living would have a better feel for the game.
To put this very simple: Not a lot of prospects nationally impact their team as much as this University of Miami commitment does. He is the kind of talent that is rare to find.
While many rank players from combines or video, if you watched him play – against the elite competition that the three-time defending state champions compete against each and every week, they may have a better idea that this is one of the best nationally, but he has been evaluated and rated poorly. It’s a fact that every coach and player will never argue with.
He runs very well, but his tackling ability and passion for the game puts him on the play or right near it every single time.
Whether it’s as run support or coming up to cover receivers, tight ends or running backs, he will hit you like a truck. Big time football player who will be a major impact player this season and into his college career.

SOME MAJOR SENIOR DEFENSIVE BACK TALENT WILL BE ON DISPLAY
As Kinchens will showcase his many skills in the secondary, there are also some other Florida athletes who are impressive in the secondary as well. Check out these five athletes:
[player_tooltip player_id="32702" first="Aubrey" last="Burks"], 6-0, 180, Auburndale. This is an extremely talented football player who does so many things well. Not only is this Indiana University commitment a solid play maker, but his ball skills are amazing. He is around every play – and when he lines up in the box, it’s like having another linebacker in the game. The Hoosiers got themselves a gem. Someone who can play just about everywhere on that defense and cause problems for the offense.

Nic Fairbanks, 6-1, 180, New Port Richey Mitchell. As we said before, no matter where you go in Florida, there are impressive prospects – and here is yet another one who is not on a lot of radar screens. Whether it’s at the corner position or safety, here is a productive football player who gets it done in the classroom (4.2 GPA) with excellent ball skills and is a solid tackler, who averaged nearly 10 tackles a game this past season. He also came up with five interceptions, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.

[player_tooltip player_id="32649" first="Tommi" last="Hill"], 6-2, 190, Orlando Edgewater. Easily one of the top athletes in Florida, this Arizona State commitment could line up at five positions and do well at all of them. He is a true difference maker who can turn the tide of a game with his ability to play at such an elite level. Will be one of the premier college freshmen in the country next year.

Keyshawn Winder, Wellington Palm Beach Central. Hard work and dedication has helped to open doors for this young man, as this active playmaker can cover, hit, has outstanding ball skills and lift this program up with his ability to play this game at a high level. Was one of the top 63 players in Pam Beach County, and for good reason. You will hear a lot from him this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="32647" first="Kamar" last="Wilcoxson"], 6-1, 180, Bradenton IMG Academy. Yet another player who comes in to play for this nationally rated program from Stephenson High in Stone Mountain, Ga., and what this impressive talent brings with him is an arsenal of things that can beat you. A very athletic football player who not only can get it done in the secondary, where he dominates, but also as a receiver, who has speed and plenty of skill.
