A lot of times some of these kids get overlooked because they don’t play at big schools, and I feel that they deserve the spotlight and the opportunity to be seen as by college coaches as well. It is important that we highlight as many prospects as possible. At Prep Redzone Florida, we are different than most sites where we want to emphasize guys that are not being heavily recruited and try to promote them, so they also get an opportunity to play in college and get the exposure they need and deserve!
Kevis Thomas- Taylor County c/o 23
6’1 180lbs
133-237 2137yds 15tds 7int
Thomas could be the best class of 23 quarterback in Florida, he has a smooth throwing motion, good mechanics, and he is a good athlete which is evident by his rushing for 544 yards. Throws with good zip on the ball on out routes, also is able to roll out and throw with the accuracy on the run. He shows the ability to scramble for big yards if the play breaks down and runs a 4.5 40. When you watch this film, he did not play like a freshman last season, he has great touch on his deep throws, and shows natural arm talent. He threw for 2137 yards and 15 touchdowns as a Freshman! He is going to be one of the highest rated recruits in Florida at the quarterback position his senior year.

Logan Pumphrey- Blountstown
5’9 160lbs
39-65 749yds 17tds 2int
Pumphrey led Blountstown to the 1A State Championship game last season. When you watch Pumphrey you realize quickly what a good athlete he is. He doesn’t get to show off his throwing skills often because his team runs a triple-option offense, when he does throw he showed nice touch one corner and deep routes and also shows the ability to throw on the run with the accuracy. He can run as well and shows good vision and patience when running with the ball. He is very smart on his reads and knows what he is looking for.

Colin Amison- Port St.Joe c/o 22
6’1 175lbs
67-119 667yds 8tds 8int
I am looking for Amison to take a big leap in production for Port St Joe’s offense this season. He has a nice armed and show some ability to throw on the run as well, also seems to be able to scan the field and find the open man pretty consistently, Plays primarily in a spread offense that runs a lot of quick hitters and bubble screens, but he does show the ability to make accurate throws down the field when call upon. Amison shows the ability to scramble a little bit, but he generally uses his feet to buy time while keeping his eyes downfield. Good c/o 22 prospect that will take major steps this year in production.
