A lot of times some of these kids get overlooked because they don’t play at big schools, and I feel that they deserve the spotlight and the opportunity to be seen as by college coaches as well. It is important that we highlight as many prospects as possible. At Prep Redzone Florida, we are different than most sites where we want to emphasize guys that are not being heavily recruited and try to promote them, so they also get an opportunity to play in college and get the exposure they need and deserve!
Calvin Stringer- Sneads
5’10 180lbs
182 car 1719yds 23 tds
Stringer’s one of the elite running backs that doesn’t get much publicity in Florida, he rushed for 1719 yards and 23 touchdowns while also averaging 39.8 avg on kick returns last season! Stringer is very decisive, hits the hole extremely quick, and also has and outstanding break away speed. He shows outstanding feet in the whole and has really good start-stop ability, and burst. I would be surprised if he doesn’t start receiving some Division 1 offers at the beginning of the season, he is a really good running back Prospect that has over 3,000 rushing yards in his career.

Alex Williams QB/ATH- Wewahitchka
6’2 195lbs
131 car 1032yds 16tds
Williams is a quarterback, but I have him listed with the running backs, he runs the triple option and is also used in the wildcat, so he’s used more for his running than his passing as of now. He shows patience and vision, and has the speed to bounce runs to the numbers and take it to the house. For a quarterback he runs with good power and consistently runs through arm tackles. He rushed for 1032 yard and 16 touchdowns last season.

Zay McDaniel- Wewahitchka c/o 24
100 car 690yds 6tds
McDaniel burst onto the scene as an 8th grader playing varsity, and not only did he play, but he excelled at the varsity level by rushing for 690 yards and 6 touchdowns, he also had two interceptions on defense. McDaniel shows good balance, has a great spin move, and cutback vision, and runs with surprising power, and bounces off tacklers. The sky’s the limit for McDaniel and I wouldn’t be surprised his senior year if he’s one of the best in the state.

Joeseph Finuff/FB/LB- Liberty County
6’0 200lbs
68 car 273yds 6tds
Finuff there’s a terrific linebacker Prospect, but I also wanted to list him as a fullback as well because he shows outstanding lead blocking ability. Plays with a chip on his shoulder and loves contact. Throwback style of player that likes to put his helmet into your chest, he shows good power and balance when running with the football and looks to punish defenders. I was very impressed Finuff’s film; he is an all round really good football player that will play college at some level.
