In the 7A state championship game against national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, his long runs and ability to break away and out-run a program that seldom yields big plays, had a national audience immediately placing him among the best or the following season.
While he was a standout in the central Florida area, regarded as one of the fastest athletes around, and many knew all about his big play capabilities, the national reputation came down to that narrow loss to the unbeaten Raiders. He is another of the amazing receivers that Alabama has committed for the 2021 season. He can do it all – and is indeed pure excitement!

IMPRESSIVE RECEIVERS ARE EVERYWHERE
If you have followed high school football for any length of time in Florida, you already know that the receiver position is loaded and deep. Besides Leary, here are five more to watch in 2020:
[player_tooltip player_id="32797" first="Terrance" last="Anthony"], WR, 6-1, 170, Orange Park Oakleaf. You better jam him off the line or you will be in for a tough night. He uses his speed, athletic ability and knowledge of the game to find the end zone, which he did 13 times for over 1,000 yards. A deep threat who will also beat you underneath – with his route running skills. Solid football talent.

[player_tooltip player_id="32798" first="JoJo" last="Blackmon"], WR, 5-10, 175, Pensacola Escambia. There is no getting around the fact that here is a playmaker with speed, great vision and tremendous route running abilities. Not only is he a deep threat for the Gators and head coach Mike Bennett, but toss him a swing pass out of the slot and watch him run. He’s nearly impossible to matchup with because of his speed and athleticism. He can also make a lot out of nothing, knowing how to find the endzone.

[player_tooltip player_id="32799" first="Patrick" last="Bryant"], WR, 6-3, 190, Jacksonville Atlantic Coast. Remains one of Florida’s elite receivers and athletes, this University of Illinois commitment is truly a big-time talent who has been on the radar for three years. Get him the ball and you will see how he makes huge things happen. Tall, rangy and fast, this is a football talent that has a chance to be a game-changer at the next level. He is also an amazing basketball talent as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="32802" first="Jahmal" last="Edrine"], 6-3, 185, Fort Lauderdale. Because south Florida is so stacked with talent, sometimes major prospects are overlooked, but watching this young man perform for head coach Richard Dunbar and the Flying Ls, you can see how versatile he is. Long ball, underneath or out of the backfield, this FAU commitment can make something out of nothing, and that’s what this program is counting on this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id="32800" first="Isaiah" last="Davis"], WR. 6-4, 190, Apopka Wekiva. Yet another long pass catcher who can beat you in so many ways. Watch him play and you will see that he does so many things, and that’s why this Ohio University commitment will be a huge piece of this year’s offense. In addition to being a solid pass catcher, he is physical and is not afraid to stick his head into the defensive back and block. Becoming a complete prospect.
