While we continue to spotlight top-flight coverage, we have also looked at certain areas, giving prospects in that region an opportunity for all to read about them and see what they bring to the table.
With our Top 100 Class of 2022 list ready to debut, we make a stop in the Central Florida area and check out some rising prospects.
Jeremiah Connelly, Slot/RB, 5-9, 180, Orlando Edgewater. After a solid sophomore season for the Eagles at the slot position, he is back for more. Following in the rather large footsteps of his brother, Isaiah, his speed and quickness is something that continues to thrust this young man into the spotlight. Keep an eye on him. He is very special.

Victor Jones, WR, 6-2, 180, Orlando Olympia. This standout has just started to get on the radar – as colleges have taken notice of what he can do. This is a tall, quick prospect who can run, win balls in the air and make plays. The best thing about him is he isn’t finished growing and maturing yet. Everyone who has watched him agree that he will be impressive.

Nikai Martinez, DB, 5-11, 175, Apopka. This versatile secondary performer is going to be very special for the Blue Darters once again this season. Can play corner or safety and is a very physical prospect who can run. Has outstanding ball skills and reads the plays extremely well. He is never intimidated by anyone he lines up against.

Casey St. John, QB, 6-2, 180, Orlando Boone. After watching this quality talent play a year ago for the Braves, there is no doubt that head coach Andy Johnson has someone very special. Threw for over 1,700 yards last season and accounted for 10 touchdowns. Solid prospect who is only getting better. Those colleges who have watched him, love what they see.
