WPIAL Seniors Under the Radar

Here is a look at a few seniors, who I feel may be under the radar for potential FCS and D-II schools. [player_tooltip player_id="27248" first="Anthony" last="Jackson"], Linebacker 6’1 205 – Aliquippa HS Junior Season Analysis: Anthony has good size. He shows pretty good speed and closing burst. Really good tackler. Lacks coverage skills. Plays tight end, shows good ball skills. Has good change of direction. He is a run stopper. Overall, Anthony is a good player. It will be interesting to see what he can do this season.   [player_tooltip player_id="27351" first="Paris" last="Bunridge"], Offensive Tackle 6’5 290 – Aliquippa HS Junior Season Analysis: Paris has great size. Looks athletic enough. He shows to drive feet on contact, does play high. Physical kid, who is a finisher. Overall, Paris is a decent player who needs to improve his techniques. I am interested on how he improves this season. I think he can be a really solid player at the next level, but for the right team. According to his twitter, he does have a Ball State offer.   Asaad Robinson, Athlete 6’0 175 – McKeesport HS Junior Season Analysis: Looks smaller than what he is listed. Right off the gate, you can see how quick he is with good speed. He plays with a lot of effort, doesn’t give up on plays. Plays offense and defense, but think he is better suited on offense. He can be used as a return man as well. Overall, Asaad is a good player. He has a mixture of D-II and D-III offers but could rack up more D-II offers this season.   [player_tooltip player_id="27352" first="Naman" last="Alemada"], Quarterback 6’5 200 – South Fayette HS Junior Season Analysis: Naman has good size. His throwing mechanic needs to improve, he shows to have a low, loose, and slow release. Looks like he throws it side arm but does have good arm strength. He shows to climb the pocket. Average accuracy, the ball is behind receivers at times. Will make the tight window throws. Interested to see how he improves his upcoming season. Overall, Naman is a good quarterback who I think can be a good FCS or D-II player. He does hold an offer from Long Island University.   [player_tooltip player_id="27353" first="CJ" last="Robbins"], Defensive Back 6’0 175 – Baldwin HS Junior Season Analysis: CJ has good size. He lacks quickness but has decent speed. He shows average ball skills. He shows to have smooth hips.  Has good break and acceleration. Based on junior film, he seems like a solid player but did not have many clips. CJ only has one D-II offer but think he could get some more offers. It will be interesting to see what he can do his senior year.
