While many of these guys are just as good, they haven’t received the recognition they deserve, yet. We at Prep Redzone Florida always want to promote guys that are hidden gems and under-recruited, and these guys fit that mold. I project all of these guys to play at the next level.
Alec Kabel- Sarasota Riverview
6’2 257lbs
(No offers)

What Alec Kabel lacks in size he makes up for with speed, quickness, and a low center of gravity that helps him win battles at the line of scrimmage. He gets to the second level with ease and punishes linebackers. He’s a mauler and has a nasty streak while bringing bad intentions on every play and delivers a good pop on contact.
Matthew Sherer- Tampa Plant
6’8 280lbs
(2 Offers-Lafayette, Moorehead State)
https://www.hudl.com/profile/10972881/Matthew-Sherer
Sherer plays for the Tampa Powerhouse Plant High School. Sherer has a huge frame and long arms. While he struggles some with his footwork, the sky is the limit for this young man. He has the Prototype tackle build. He shows some ability to get to the second level which is very impressive for a player his size. A project him to end up being one of the highest recruited tackles in this area before seasons end.
David Tibbs- Clearwater Countryside
6’7 295lbs
(1 Offer-Ohio Wesleyan)
https://www.hudl.com/profile/8066300/David-Tibbs
This is one of the best tackles in Pinellas County. How he is not recruited more heavily is beyond me. He shows decent feet for someone his size. He gets his hands inside and anchors while showing a mean streak to finish blocks. His pass-pro will need some improvement, but he has an outstanding coaching staff that will get that squared away quickly. He does a good job using his long arms to catch blockers and redirect them. Tibbs in my opinion will garner some D-1 interest just by size alone by seasons end.
Nohl Settlemire- Tampa Sickles
6’0 260lbs
(Several D-II and D-III)
https://www.hudl.com/profile/5588079/Nohl-Settlemire
Settlemire is one of the best centers in the Tampa Bay area. He was second-team all-conference last season. He has several Division II and Division III offers. His game is quickness and technique and plays with a tremendous amount of effort. He has light feet and gets to the second level with ease, and finishes his blocks. You can tell he’s a coach’s son because he plays with a lot of discipline and is very smart!
Evan Brennan- JW Mitchell
6’4 320lbs
(1 Offer-Stetson)
https://www.hudl.com/profile/10290516/Evan-Brennan
Evan Brennan is one of the best tackles in Pasco County, he shows good quickness at the snap, he has a thick lower body. He shows good hand placement, plays with power, and shows a heavy punch. He loves to finish blocks off it shows great feet in space for a player his size. Will need to work on his kick-slide in pass pro. Great prospect on a team that annually makes a playoff run.
