It’s Exciting To Be Part of A First Class Network, Dedicated To Covering Football In The Sunshine State.
On September 13, 1970, when I covered North Miami Senior High against Miami Northwestern for the Miami News, it kicked off a love affair with football that has lasted 50 years.
The passion and love for the game of football has taken me from American Samoa – to California, Maine, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Puerto Rico, Canada and into some most passionate hotbeds of football in the country.
My road has also taken me to every corner of “The Sunshine State” – my home – Florida to see talent that is recruited by every college in the country.
While I have had the opportunity and pleasure to cover Hall of Famers, Heisman Trophy winners and other amazing football players during a half century – I have always been fortunate to help expose and promote the “little guys” – the athletes that don’t have stars or notoriety that the “elite prospects” have been tagged with.
While everything we have accomplished is now in the past, it has only served as a very exciting learning experience for the future.
The future is indeed very bright here at Prep Redzone Florida. We are building a team that will cover every part of this state – Pensacola to Key West and everywhere in between.
From player profiles in each region to team previews, our Florida Team will bring you an insight like never before.
With our years of experience in dealing with high school coaches in all 64 counties – and the over 500 programs that play the sport – we will give you a front row season like never before.
With rankings very important to so many, our travel to see prospects LIVE is something that NOBODY else will ever provide. We watch film and talk to coaches as an enhancement and NOT to rank players. That is done from our years of evaluating and having over 4,000 college coaches who follow and keep in contact with us year-round – at every level of play.
We are excited to have a Team here in Florida that share the same passion and are professional and serious about bringing you coverage you can depend on.
