Here are five talented Kansas student-athletes looking for their first college football offer.
<strong>ATH, Nikko Taylor, 6’6”, 225, Blue Valley North</strong> – Taylor is a big target. Fast enough to play wideout, but also has a frame that could be transformed into a tight end. He’s a two-sport athlete who could also play basketball at the collegiate level. He might be getting overlooked on a talented Mustang team with multiple players receiving Division I offers.
<strong>OL, De’Andre Hudson, 6’3”, 343, Wichita Southeast</strong> – Hudson is a big man and quick for his size. He has lined up at tackle and guard. His future in college football could be as a space-eating nose guard on defense. He’s strong and tough to move.
<strong>QB, Aaron Rutherford, 5’9”, 145, Field Kindley </strong>-<strong>Coffe<img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-35724" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/07/PRZKansasLaunch-1-300x188.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="188" /></strong><strong>yville—</strong>Rutherford is a dual-threat quarterback with an accurate arm. He has shown the ability to make solid decisions with the football. He also plays cornerback who finishes tackles.
<strong>LB, Michael Anthony, 5’11”,195, Wichita Northwest</strong>– Anthony plays on a Grizzly squad staked with Division 1 offer athletes. Not to be overlooked, Anthony is a hybrid type defensive player who could line up at linebacker or serve as a safety. Anthony has a good balance of speed and strength, as he has 4.5/40 and squats 450 lbs.
<strong>LB, [player_tooltip player_id="35479" first="Jordan" last="Rainer"], 6’3”, 190, Hayden</strong> – Rainer has a football motor and belongs on the defensive side of the ball. He is a run-stuffing linebacker but had a frame that could add size and muscle to possibly make the move to defensive end.
