Unless your the Seahawks, 49ers, or Notre Dame, power running focused offenses in the NFL and NCAA are becoming a thing of the past. So as the high school game continues to look like the leagues that follow it the wide receiver position becomes all the more imperative.
[player_tooltip player_id="27965" first="Amari" last="Clark"] | Woodrow Wilson

Clark showed some flashes of brilliance in his sophomore year and is already fielding offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech and Rutgers. Early in the season, he had two 100 plus yard receiving games including two touchdowns and a gritty win over Delbarton. In his upcoming junior year, expect a higher volume of receptions as well as building off of his five touchdowns from 2019.
2. [player_tooltip player_id="27977" first="Jihaad" last="Campbell"] | Timber Creek
Campbell split time at defensive end in 2019 but should be primed for a breakout season as a wideout for Timber Creek in 2020. At 6’3 220 lbs and with offers from Boston College and Rutgers, Campbell has a freakish frame that has the potential to dominate DB’s in his junior year, as well as when he gets to college.
3. [player_tooltip player_id="27988" first="Elijah" last="Steward"] | Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit Standout was more than stellar in 2019. He finished the campaign with nearly 700 yards along with 10 touchdowns, making it crystal clear that the best is yet to come from [player_tooltip player_id="27988" first="Elijah" last="Steward"]. With two more seasons in his high school career, Steward can look forward to impressing even more college scouts come 2020. He had 127 receiving yards and a touchdown in 38-0 blowout win in the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Non-Public Group 2 final.
4. [player_tooltip player_id="27993" first="JoJo" last="Bermudez"] | Cedar Creek
Cedar Creek utilized Bermudez’s speed to great success in his sophomore season, mainly as a rusher. He did finish the season second on the team in receptions and receiving yards, and with Cedar Creek losing three senior pass-catchers come the 2020 season, Bermudez is primed to lead the way. He has official offers from Syracuse, UMass, and Central Michigan.
5. [player_tooltip player_id="28011" first="Chris" last="Corbo"] | West Essex
Another upcoming junior with great size. At 6’4, [player_tooltip player_id="28011" first="Chris" last="Corbo"] was steady for West Essex in 2019 with 437 yards and 3 touchdowns. West Essex was definitely a run-first offense in Corbo’s sophomore year but should look to utilize his height and athleticism more come 2020. He has great jump ball skills and his hands and speed to compliment the height as well.
