There has yet to be an offer to out in Western PA in the Class of 2022. COVID-19 could be a big reason for that, as we have multiple players graded as FBS level prospect. The defensive back class is particularly good in this year. Here are 5 FBS level prospects that should be priority evaluations in the class of 2022.
[player_tooltip player_id="27561" first="Patrick" last="Body"] – Gateway – CB – 6’2 – 175: Tall, long, physical press corner. Still young, has ability to play field safety as well. Good burst on the ball, good ball skills. Great frame, could definitely carry more weight. Will be an elite talent when it is all said and done
[player_tooltip player_id="27577" first="JD" last="Younger"] – Central Catholic – SAF – 5’11 – 190: Hyrbrid between Corner and safety. I think he will play at safety at the next level but he is a physical and productive guy in PA’s toughest conference. Good burst and closing speed, just average general speed but still has time to get better. Makes his presence felt in the run game. At corner he gets off blocks easily. Coverage skills are good not great, he needs to continue progressing but he has fairly fluid hips and shows he can play in space
Kyrell Hutcherson – Kiski – CB – 6’2 – 168: Long and rangy CB. Still young but has an unreal skillset. Multi sport athlete, really good at basketball as well. Not great in his backpedal but flips his hips and runs great. Really god ball skills and adjustments to the ball. Shows he is a willing tackler as well. Really hig potential
[player_tooltip player_id="27582" first="Devin" last="Barren"] – Central Catholic – SAF – 6’1 – 180: Plays at a high speed but is out of control at times. Has a grewat frame, might grow into a linebacker that plays in space. Very physical, loves coming up to make a play. Needs to work on tackling in general, sometimes just doesn’t have the weight but he plays in the toughest conference in PA. Best ball is ahead of him. Average ball skills. Will be a solid prospect in the comnig years
[player_tooltip player_id="27596" first="Pharoh" last="Fisher"] – Imani Christian – 6’0 – 175 – CB: He has good burst and speed and overal good athleticism. He is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. The level of competition is really bad but he shows atheltic traits. Has the frame to put on weight and needs to but his movement skills show FBS ability. Above average ball skills as well. Good solid prospect
