Last year went great for me as a player as well as for our team. I saw a lot of time both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, which helped me expanded my capabilities while still working on my strengths. As a team, our highlights were having a season over 500, beating Eastview in the Battle for the Apple, and winning a section championship. At the end of the season, I was honored by receiving Most Outstanding Lineman, the team's Scholastic Award, and an All District Award.”
Rolland is doing what he can in the off-season to prepare for the grind of two-a-days in August.
“During this off-season, I have been lifting every morning with my teammates and looking over film so that when August hits, I will be prepared to hit the ground running,” Rolland explained to Northstar Football. “I am most looking to improve on my strength and weight because in order to play at the next level, players have to be explosive and powerful with their body. Next season, I expect our team to be very competitive. We have multiple returning players in many positions. Pair that with our team moving down a class for our regular season schedule should create a very successful season.”
