Lorenzo was one of the bright spots for Southridge, earning third-team all-conference recognition as a defensive back. He showed the ability to compete in coverage and support in the run game, which is no small task in a league full of skilled receivers. His experience this year should accelerate his development into a more complete secondary player. Expect Lorenzo’s role to expand as he grows into his frame and confidence.
