Veale recently wrapped up his high school career as one of the better tackles in the state. He was as reliable as they come on the left side. He’s got a big body with long arms that help in pass pro. He understands how to set his feet and can slide left and right. I like his power in the running game and how he has the leverage advantage. He’s got the size and tools to play at the next level, so I anticipate him landing somewhere soon and boosting a room.

Was a bite late off the snap in
Week 0 scrimmage and needs to develop first-step quickness, but when he is able to latch on and drive defenders off the ball he can be a forceful blocker. Hard to get around just due to his mass. Has a frame that you can’t coach at 6-foot-6. Aggressive run blocker who can drive his feet on contact. Develop in pass pro. Has some upside.

Veale is a sound lineman up front for Washington and has the potential to develop into a Saturday starter. He’s got decent feet and does a good job staying off his heels. He’s off the line quickly and can go on the move without an issue. I think he prototypes more as a tackle, but he can move so the inside potential is there.
