Nucci looked bigger than when I saw him in the season and he has a good arm. He was best on intermediate throws outside the numbers and had the arm strength to deliver some heat on out-breaking routes. Sometimes he puts a little too much air under the deep throws and could put more velocity on those, but the arm strength is clearly there and he can throw off-platform.
Nucci completed 65 percent of his passes for 208 yards per game with 24 touchdowns and ran for three touchdowns for El Toro last season.
He’s a good athlete who can extend plays with his legs and break off a big play on a QB draw or zone/read. Nucci has plus arm strength and has nice touch on the deep throws. He sometimes eyes down his primary target which may be the reason for his 11 interceptions, but the tools are there and he could be due for a big senior season.
