Knap has a good frame and will continue to grow into it. He is an exciting on-ball backer who is active and does well impacting plays. He does well weaving through traffic and not getting bogged down. When rushing the quarterback, he does well disengaging from his blocks and uses his quickness to close ground. He’s an exciting player who does well at limiting big plays.
Wyatt has been excellent on the Year and has a good frame. He moves well athletically, and is quick off the line. He can be an attacking backer or be used in space and in coverage. He’s a versatile backer who will look to help lead Park City to a win over Olympus.
Knapp has been a useful on-ball backer. He has a good first step and is a player who presses forward and can disengage from his blocks; he has good pursuit, and his closing speed allows him to create pressure and havoc. He is an exciting backer who is primed for a career year.
Knapp returns as one of top tacklers from last season. Has the ability to move through traffic and avoid blocks to find ball carriers. Hands to shed blocks. Burst/take off as a blitz rusher. A wrap up type tackler that will make the sure hit at the LOS and the open field. Knapp has the size and athletic ability to play the MIKE or WILL linebacker position in a 4-3 defensive scheme.
Knapp has good size and can continue to build on his frame. He’s a versatile backer who can be an on-ball backer or off-ball. That versatility allows him to be a playmaker. Knapp is good in coverage and doesn’t get lost in space. He showcases good vision and covers a lot of ground. Knapp’s overall quickness and speed help him be an excellent rusher. His first step is explosive and he combines that with good physicality to his game. Knapp also possesses good bend as a rusher as well. He is a player that should get regionally recruited.
