A promising defensive prospect that is somewhere between an Edge and Middle Linebacker at this point. The Central Florida native has a strong build and good explosion coming off the edge. Also moves very well for a prospect who lists himself at 6-foot and 200-pounds, as of November 2024. Being the tweener that he is at this point, how he continues to grow will dictate exactly what position he ultimately falls into. Either way, Murphy looks like a kid who will be causing havoc for opposing offenses in some capacity, over the next four years.
