Goodman broke onto the scene last fall for North Atlanta, producing as both a passer and a runner. I think he has more to give and should have an even more productive fall. Goodman is a live arm, gunslinger-style QB who plays fearlessly. He has plenty of horsepower thanks to his stout, strong frame, and he looks like a max effort thrower, so that ball is coming out and arriving quickly. He is an explosive athlete with plenty to offer in the QB run game, which just ties his game together.

Goodman is someone who has quickly become a top name in the state, because he is one of the more fluid athletes at the position. He doesn’t have the exact measurements that you would want, but he has made the most of it. He is one of my favorite players in the state of Georgia when it comes to throwing on the inside of the numbers, and he lets the ball rip at a very good angle. I absolutely love what he brings to the table, and because of that I have him as a top QB in the state and I find it hard to believe that there are many better than him in the 2028 class inside the Peach State lines.

A sophomore quarterback in Atlanta who really shined this fall, Goodman is a dual-threat quarterback who can really run with above-average arm talent for his age. He moves in the pocket well, scans the field with poise, and can deliver an accurate strike down the field. He played like an upperclassmen and was one of the top overall quarterbacks in the area this past season. The North Atlanta passer threw for an impressive 2,055 yards and 22 touchdowns this past season with 383 yards and two more scores on the ground. He was an easy addition to the latest rankings update and could see some interest and possible offers come his way in the winter.
