Vigil was a player that jumped on my radar last season and is just a dawg up front. He is able to get off of blocks quickly and can create chaos in the back field, making life difficult for his opponent. He is able to put constant pressure on the QB and being violent in his pass rush beating his opponent to bring him down. He put up some eye catching numbers this season and was all over the place bringing the ball carrier down. He is uncommitted and would be a steal in my opinion to whatever program is able to sign him.

Vigil delivered a standout performance, recording 7 solo tackles, 6 assisted tackles, and grabbing an interception from his defensive lineman position. Vigil’s ability to control the line of scrimmage and wreak havoc in the trenches was impressive, as he not only shut down the run game but also disrupted the quarterback’s timing. His interception was a highlight moment, showing his awareness and athleticism as a big man on defense. Vigil’s presence was felt all over the field, making life difficult for the opposing offense.

Vigil is a standout DL that is a must recruit player that is able to dominate the line of scrimmage. With his explosive first step and ability to shed blocks, he consistently causes chaos in the backfield and makes life difficult for opposing offenses. His strength and technique allow him to take on and beat even the top OL in the state, making him a DPOY candidate for this season. His ability to blow past blockers and disrupt plays before they even develop, make him a nightmare for opposing offenses and in my opinion makes him a must know player.

Vigil is a prospect that made some noise this offseason is looking to be on the 1st Team All-State this season. He has a high motor and can bend the corner quickly to make a play in the backfield, at times chasing the ball carrier down on the opposite side of the field. He is great at being able to get off of blocks quickly, using good hand placement or making a move to get lineman off balance. He does show good power being able to drive his opponent back as well. He will be a candidate for DPOY in the 5A Metro League and will be a stock-riser to watch this season.

Vigil was a player in the new Prep Super League that was able to turn some heads. He is an edge rusher that has a high motor, being able to track the ball down from the back side of the play. He has good hands and is able to get off of blocks quickly to make tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage. He is a stock rise player that I think can make a big leap, as he has taken on the top players in the state and held his own.
