Tyson is another Offensive Tackle I suspect we will see rise in the rankings over the next two years. A large-framed 6’5”, currently listed at 285 lbs., Tyson is a road grader as St. Anne’s Left Tackle. Good in run blocking, coming off the ball, and enforcing his will. He has the athleticism to get in space and lead block for his Running Backs. Shows the mental processing to pick up Backers. The natural size, strength, and athleticism are there for Tyson. I look forward to seeing how his game has developed as an Offensive Tackle this fall.

Boyd’s size was prevalent Sunday. Tyson was a leader for the offensive line room and was vocal with coaches all day. He had good punch and did well anchoring into the ground and using his lower body to push forward. He improved throughout the entire day and was named MVP for the offensive line.

Boyd has shown out at events prior, so I look forward to watching him. He moves well off the snap and can position himself well to stay ahead of rushers. In the run game, he is a mauler and can get tremendous forward push. I’m excited to see what Tyson can do Sunday.

Out of St. Anne’s Belfield, Tyson had himself a good day. He has the size to play Tackle. He was one we really noticed when it came to the 1v1s. He will be a dependable player for St. Anne’s offensive line. On film, you see him engaging defenders quickly off the ball and driving them. We were really impressed with Tyson and looking forward to his development heading into his senior season.
