Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A slippery running back who can hide behind blockers and take off down the field, Grayson may not be the biggest or heaviest back in Southeast Georgia, but he runs bigger than his size and has a knack for slipping through defenders. He does a good job of running with balance and showed breakaway speed when he gets through the line of scrimmage. Grayson ran for 839 yards and 8 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 7.6 yards per carry. He led the team in rushing and did it as a sophomore. If he can put on some more weight and perfect his craft this off-season, Grayson could be in store for a breakout junior season next year.

Read EvaluationMatt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
Another small-town back who has been lighting up the stat sheet this fall as a sophomore, Grayson may be small in stature, but he runs hard and brings a slippery running style to the table. He’s tough to hold onto and can sneak his way through small holes in the trenches. He shows impressive speed and can flay past defenders with ease if they’re out of position. Grayson has run for 701 yards and seven touchdowns this fall, hitting the 100-yard mark three times. He’s averaging 7.2 yards per carry and is coming off his best game of the season against Southeast Bulloch where he ran for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
