Klaner has been one of the hottest recruits in the Midwest for multiple reasons and his future potential is top-notch. He’s got that rare frame you seek for a TE over the middle. He’s great in the RedZone and gives the QB a massive target. He’s nimble, off the ball quick, and can block effectively. I do think there might be a developing phase at the next level, but I feel confident that once he develops and gets acclimated to that Saturday system, he’ll flourish wherever he ends up.

The 6’5″ TE product out of Boonville is another great athlete who can do quite a few things on the field. Whether you need an end of the line blocker, someone to chip and go out on a route, or someone to line up out wide as another receiver, Klaner may be your guy. He’s strong, thick, and has good balance. He doesn’t stumble or trip over himself like some taller dudes who are still getting their feet underneath the can. I’d love to see him become a main point of their offense and let him go to work in the middle of the field, but he’s quickly making strides in every area of his game so it’s only a matter of time until he blows up.
