Paty was arguably the most dominant overall player at the camp regardless of position. His power immediately overwhelmed reps, particularly with a devastating bull rush that consistently collapsed leverage and forced opponents backward. Once he got into a lineman’s chest, the rep was usually over.
What stood out beyond the power was the technical efficiency behind it. Paty paired aggressive hand usage with strong leverage and consistent hand placement, allowing him to generate force without losing balance or control. He constantly dictated engagements rather than reacting to them.
There was an edge and physicality to his game that separated him from the field. Rep after rep, Paty imposed his will with power, effort, and violence at the point of attack.
