He has the ideal frame and length for the next level, and can play a variety of different positions, depending on scheme. He is a true technician against the run and when rushing the passer, and checks into our updated rankings as a top 6 player at his position and inside the top 25 overall. Bowens currently holds offers from Notre Dame, ASU, Oregon, Cal and Minnesota among others, and should be a 20+ offer guy by the time it’s all said and done.

Bowens was the most impressive prospect in the morning group, and passes the eye test with still two years left in his prep career. He is a very twitchy and athletic pass rusher with violent hands, hips and feet through contact and showed elite change of direction, flexibility and movement in open space. He offers tremendous position versatility inside or on the edge, and can play either at the next level depending on scheme. Already holding offers from Oregon, Cal, Oklahoma State and Minnesota he should see his stock continue to rise in the coming months and through the summer heading into his Junior season.

Bowens enters into our rankings as the number 12 overall defensive lineman in the class of 2027, and is a dominant prospect that should move inside at the next level and is a elite athlete. He is extremely explosive off the ball with violent hands and a variety of pass rush moves at his disposal and is a high motor kid that can bend without losing speed and covers a ton of ground quickly. Bowens quickly resets the line of scrimmage and locks out blockers and can eat double teams while moving very well in space with redirect abilities. He holds offers from Oregon, Minnesota and Cal, and should continue on his way to being a national recruit over the next two years.
