If Dillon has a sophomore capable of starting on its line, we’re always going to pay attention. In Coward, we liked what we saw. While he’s still a little on the smaller side, Coward is extremely active with his feet and hands alike.
It allowed Singletary to pick his spots after his first move and then find plenty of open room.
On Singletary’s 72-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, he followed Coward into open space and then used his own strength to break a tackle or two. But none of the Seahawks defenders were even close to him until he was into the second level, thanks to Coward at the right tackle position.
