Expert Analysis
Shedrick Mckenzie | Prep Redzone Scout
Washington is a linebacker I really like because of how physical he plays. He gets downhill quickly, takes on contact and has the speed to make plays outside the box. Also, adding UCLA shows his recruitment is starting to reach well beyond the Southeast. Washington continues to trend up as more programs get involved.

Read EvaluationJosh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Washington validated his reputation as a top-tier athlete with his performance throughout the event. Despite a taller frame, he moved fluidly in space and showed explosiveness as an open-field tackler. His long strides ate up ground quickly, allowing him to close on ball carriers and hold up in coverage reps. Washington was a consistent winner in competitive drills, pairing physical tools with a clear competitive edge. His frame and movement skills project cleanly to the next level.
