TJ really surprised some people this season, but I have been following him for awhile so his performance did not shock me. This kid can flat out ball. Defensively he impressed me a number of times with his quick reactions, great speed and ability to high point the ball. He’s very natural in the secondary and you can tell he knows his stuff. When I saw him play this season, he was able to disrupt the receiver off the ball and mess up any timing routes the offense had planned. TJ is a very good player who I think would make a roster at the D3 level better!

- One of the most natural athletes on the field on Friday night
- Offensively was very QB friendly, regularly creating separation and being a safety valve for his QB
- Great vertical to go up and get the ball, and showed a great ability to run after the catch effectively
- Very good kick/punt returner who possesses great vision and acceleration

TJ had an excellent game against Algonac. For one, his YAC was insane. Granted, Algonac looked like an awful tacking team, but you can definitely see some good athleticism from TJ. Namely, at 0:37, TJ evades about six defenders as he jukes his way to big YAC. The punt return at 1:20 shows more of that elusiveness, and I think it’s his best play of the season so far. It’s impressive that TJ was able to score in such a variety of ways, and I’m looking forward to seeing that TJ does against stronger competition. October 4 vs Almont and October 25 vs Corunna will be huge games for TJ!

TJ is an elite 2 way player that finds a way to stay productive no matter what the situation is. I really like that offensively and on special teams, he can be a home run guy. He is able to run great routes to get open behind the secondary, and he has the open field vision and speed to make plays in the return game. Defensively, he reads plays quickly, and tracks the ball in flight extremely easily to make interceptions and PBU’s a common play for him. I would love to get to an Armada game and check out what he can do for myself in person!
