In a game with high winds, Lanese, had himself a great performance. The Pearl River QB, battled an injury in the second half, but managed to toss three touchdown passes, leading Pearl River to a win.
Lanese displayed incredible accuracy, and arm strength against the wind. I like his release, and mechanics, as his passes seem effortless. He stood tall in the pocket, and displayed good strength, taking some big hits.

Lanese and Pearl River won a shootout against John Jay Cross River 55-47. The Pearl River QB, accumulated six touchdowns through the air and ground, going 16-28, with 319 yards and five touchdowns, along with 65 yards on the ground and one touchdowns.

Lanese is one of my favorite prospects from Section One. The 6’4″ 185 pound signal caller had a solid build for the QB Position. The Pearl River star is coming off an impressive Junior Season where he was named to the First Team All County in Rockland County.
Lanese is an excellent improviser who excels outside the pocket and creating plays. His vision is outstanding and he can see the entire field. Accuracy and Arm strength are both solid traits he uses to pair with vision and Improvising. He is impossible to tackle and in his film you see multiple defenders bounce off him.
Lanese is a solid prospect who exploded this previous season. If he continues this trend this year, he can easily be among the top QB’s in Section One.

An imposing presence standing at 6’4” at the QB position. Lanese’s ability to improvise out of the pocket to make throws was evident, especially breaking tackles at the LOS. Additionally, Lanese can scan the field with great vision going through his full progressions to hit his intended targets. Thereafter, he can make lob throws with accuracy and touch in the corner of the end zones. Impressive ability to stand tall in the pocket and lead his receivers down the field.
