Thomas brings rare size to the offensive line at 6 foot 8 which immediately gives him a clear physical advantage in both pass protection and the run game. His length allows him to establish first contact early and keep defenders out of his frame when he is locked in. When he plays with proper leverage he becomes extremely difficult to get around and shows the ability to control his matchups simply through reach and presence.
He is still developing consistency with pad level which is expected for a taller lineman but when he stays low he can overwhelm defenders and create clean movement at the point of attack. In pass protection his long arms allow him to mirror rushers effectively but continued refinement in footwork will take his game to another level.
