Mitchell has excellent strength for his size and moves well, as shown by his ability as a discus thrower. He’ll likely play on the edge full-time in the future, but he moves around the line and often pinches in as a 3-4 end. His get-off is excellent, and I don’t think he was close to hitting his statistical season last year after a six-sack season.

Mitchell lined up all over the defensive line for Bunn in 2025, leading the Wildcats in tackles for loss and sacks. He’s excellent at reading the blocking to know where to attack defensively, both as a run defender and a pass rusher. He’s put on some weight and should continue to add muscle this offseason.
