Vailea has been one of the more under recruited prospects across Northern California for the past several months and is a high academic kid that is a no-brainer FCS+ player at the next level at the interior offensive line. He moves extremely well for his size, has a violent punch and finish in both the run game and pass protection and shows a nasty finish downfield. Vailea picked up his second offer from Minot State earlier last week and is one of the top uncommitted players across the Bay Area as we near the end of the 2024 season.

At 6’3” 295 lbs. Vailea is a versatile OL prospect that can play multiple positions effectively. He’s got a well-rounded skillset that combines his size, strength, mobility, and technique. A violent finisher that is physical and aggressive at the POA and drives his feet through contact. He’s a plus athlete that uses his mobility and footwork to execute different blocks. Shows he can get out in front to the second level and perimeter or match lateral movement to sustain his block in his pass set. Plays with good balance and leverage, he keeps his feet inside his framework and is under control at the contact point. High academic prospect that is extremely under recruited given his size and ability. Holds an offer from Southwest Baptist but is a breakout candidate going into his senior season. MVP of the SoCal National Preps Showcase in May.

Vailea is one of the most under-recruited kids in the entire northern California region, and is a very athletic and nasty tackle with good length, athleticism and finish. He is a very high academic kid that has tons of Varsity playing experience and has shined at multiple stops this off-season. Without a doubt, Vailea is one of the top offensive tackle prospects Northern California has to offer, and it should be long until he finally picks up his first FCS+ offer. After the OAL Showcase last week, he was offered by Southwest Baptist University.
