Niumata got playing time in blowouts as a sophomore and delivered as the full-time starter last season.

He completed 54 percent of his passes for 1308 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions in eight games last season in a very tough Sunset League.

In person, he is every bit of the size he is listed at and has very good ball placement. I watched him at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament and he blended in well among quarterbacks that are already committed to Division 1 schools.

Niumata has good zip on the ball and while he isn’t a dual threat quarterback, he is athletic for a guy his size.

Niumata is another big time thrower that has a very strong arm, and elite size for the position at 215+ and over 6’4″ heading into his Senior season. He checks in just inside the top 40 at his position, and is ranked as a 3-star prospect per 247-Sports. Niumata can throw accurately with good zip and ball placement where his guys can catch it away from defenders at all three levels, and shows pocket mobility as well and can shake off smaller tacklers as well. Very deserving to enter into our rankings, he should be closing in on his first offer sooner rather than later.
