Posavac is an explosive LB with good instincts that put him in position to make play after play. Whether it’s blocking a kick on Special Teams or coming off the edge to rush the passer, he’s going to explode to the line. He can run sideline to sideline with ease and plays with high energy. He’ll come flying downhill and put his foot in the ground when the QB does the same, and he won’t hesitate. He led all 6A sophomores with total tackles on the year with 79, 9 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 blocked FG, and 1 pass deflected. I love what he brings to the field and think he’s going to be a piece Portage builds around over the next 2 years.

Multipositional player. At defensive back, he is good in coverage. Can come out of a backpedal effectively and break on the ball. Displays good instincts, the ability to run, get downfield and hit. Has also played at running back; likely a traditional Athlete prospect. 4.47 40-yard dash.

Posavan is a good athlete who can play sideline to sideline, and his game on Friday is my first impression of him, and it’s not hard to like what you see. He was all over the field and was in on seemingly every tackle. He’s good in coverage and doesn’t get beaten over the top. He’ll come downhill and clog gaps. He finished the night with 18.5 tackles and was around the ball every down when the whistle blew.
