Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Samari Watson-Grant brings a promising combination of poise and athleticism to the quarterback position. The 2031 southpaw looked comfortable operating out of the shotgun, showing good timing with his receivers, including a well-delivered slant route. His ability as a runner may be just as concerning for opposing defenses, as he has the acceleration to split defenders and create plays when the pocket collapses. As his game continues to develop, defensive coordinators may find themselves needing to keep a close eye on him to limit his ability to make plays with his legs.
