Very good vision. Rodriguez displays very good inside and outside running. Does a great job using his speed to outrun LBs and DBs into the endzone. He has also shown to have good receiving ability. As a defender, he brings physicality and hard hitting to the defense. Good read and reaction speed with very good competitive toughness. Consistently helping his teammates finish tackles or using his hard-hitting ability. Big season in store for him.

His playmaking ability has already been evident through touchdown returns on both kickoffs and interceptions, showing his vision, speed and ability to capitalize on opportunities. Rodriguez is a dangerous weapon in the return game because of his ability to identify lanes and accelerate into open space. Offensively, he presents another challenge for opposing defenses as a running back capable of producing explosive plays. He can break off long runs between the tackles or create mismatches as a receiver coming out of the backfield. His versatility allows coaches to utilize him in multiple ways. Entering the season, Rodriguez has an opportunity to establish himself as one of the more dynamic playmakers in this class.
