While Marshall is currently listed as a Linebacker, he’s probably better served being listed as an Athlete. Whether lined up as a Defensive End, Outside Linebacker, Edge or even Strong Safety, he looks like a Cheetah chasing down his prey and attacking it. Plays the game fast and violent. I’m not sure where he ends up playing as of August 2024, but he’s a talented player.

He’s listed as an Athlete on the roster, but having watched him in both a camp setting and All-Star game format, I love this kid as an Outside Linebacker. Brings Running Back/Wide Receiver speed to the OLB position and arrives with bad intentions every. single. time. With another year to develop on the youth level, he’s a rangy kid that looks at home playing in the box against the run.

By my eye, without the benefit of having verified speed times, Marshall appears to be the fastest linebacker on this initial watchlist. Crazy athletic kid that can play wide receiver, running back, safety, corner, returner, etc. Routinely uses elite linebacker speed to chase down sweeps going away from him, from behind. Violent tackler at the point of contact. Has the potential to be one of the best football players in the state if he continues like this. I’m a big, big fan.
