Rowdy won’t be the biggest linebacker you see amongst our small town sleepers, but there is no doubt about when you roll the tape, this kid is a thumper when he makes contact with the ball carrier. He’s also more instinctive in pass coverage than I feel he might get credit for and you can gauge pretty quickly, he’s a high motored linebacker anywhere on the field. Would be good to surely get more tape, as the light tape that is there intrigues me from the Sharks.

Rowdy is one of the first targets out of Lake Preston I recall ever having on our recruiting boards, as a linebacker that intrigued me as a newcomer in this last update. Rowdy might lack the measurables at the moment, but man do I like how sudden this kid shows off to be with his relese into the backfield as one that I feel has a growing football IQ. That IQ steps up as well in pass coverage, as Rowdy has the instincts to know where the ball is going as a LB prospect I would imagine spends some quality time in the film room after games. Our LB8 in the class and one I cannot find on Twitter as of yet.
