Richard at defensive line is a name to watch heading into this season. He’s showing signs of taking that next jump playing with more urgency off the snap and starting to put it all together. His size and strength already stand out, but what’s really improving is how he uses his hands and finishes plays.
On film, you can see him beginning to control the line of scrimmage more consistently. He’s shedding blocks quicker, staying active through contact, and not just occupying space he’s making plays. If he keeps building on his technique and stays locked in with his motor, he’s got a real chance to become a difference-maker up front this year.
