McNeal has a versatile skill set that enables him to line up at quarterback or at wide receiver for South Oak Cliff. As a wideout he can lineup in the slot or out wide, he has the quickness at the snap to beat press coverage and his ability to break down and sink his hips allows him to get open often. He has the speed to get deep and this enables him to make big plays over the top. When he gets under center, McNeal Jr. has the arm talent to make big throws, he shows poise under pressure and he has the athleticism to make plays with his legs. McNeal Jr. will have the opportunity to play at the next level and college programs should get eyes on him.

Reggie is one of the most versatile players in his class, starting at quarterback for Heights, filling up the stat sheet, registering 1,451 passing yards with 14 passing touchdowns, adding 431 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns in 2023. He has excellent pocket presence, he has a strong arm with a quick release and he has good touch on his deep ball. His ability to make throws on the run to elude pressure, enables him to make plays outside the pocket. McNeal Jr. has the speed to use his legs in the running game and he is an elusive runner in the open field. Reggie is a twitchy athlete, who has the skill set to be an explosive receiver, he runs crisp routes and he tracks the ball well in flight with late hands. Seeing McNeal Jr. at several 7v7 tournaments, left no doubt that he has the skill set to be a dominate wideout, he gets open easily, showing an explosive burst and he had several high point grabs, showing that he can play above the rim. College programs will get eyes on him this offseason, as he has gathered a handful of camp invites. He is definitely a versatile athlete to keep a close eye on.
