Sorensen is a super productive LB prospect who also saw time on offense as a running back. During his sophomore season, he tallied a stunning 92 total tackles, 9 TFLs, 5.0 sacks, an interception, and 2 blocked kicks. He also brought down 157 rushing yards with a TD on only 11 carries. He doesn’t have the most tape from 2025, but I was eager to break down what he put out. On defense, he shows off a dogged determination in pursuit of the ball carrier. His closing speed impressed me, and he proves to be zone loyal in pass coverage. On offense, Sorenson sees most of his time lined up as a wing-back. I like his burst through the LOS, and he’s got good size for a sophomore ball carrier. He also does a nice job of following his lead blockers downfield. He was a major impact player last season during the Vikings’ playoff run, expect that to continue this fall.
