Top 25 ranked in our 2027 class Western Branch tackle Q’Mari Hudson picked up another offer from Virginia. That makes well over 10 from FBS level schools, Hudson is a top prospect with good reason. A strong/tough lineman he is now 6’5 and 300 lbs..

There is a lot to like in Q’mari’s sophomore tape. He has the size and frame you want for a D1 offensive lineman and the athleticism and strength to be a top prospect. He has very good balance with good bend and quick feet at the left tackle position for Western Branch. He can win with quickness and power in pass protection. Good grip strength and leg drive in Gap blocking and has the athleticism to Zone block and operate in space. He does a good job at engaging with his hands and refitting them to sustain blocks. He also plays defensive line and is very good in run defense and a force to be dealt with. Currently holds nine Division 1 offers from P4 and G5 programs.

I can see why Vic was high on the potential of Western Branch Q’Mari Hudson, he is going to be a star. He is 6’4 and 270 lbs. already, I like what he brings on both the offensive and defensive line. Would like for him to be a bit more aggressive particularly on offense where I think his future shines the brightest. When he is aggressive and keeping his technique in check you can see why many Division 1 coaches have him on their radars.
