Expert Analysis
Alan Popadines | Prep Redzone Scout
Part of a very talented core group of skill position prospects at Carver Middle School that make for a dangerous team athletically. Simmons lines up primarily at Running Back and Defensive Back but can absolutely play in the Slot as well. Some of the best feet on a 2031 prospect I’ve come across thus far when looking at this class in Oklahoma. The pro comparison is lofty, and should resinate with folks in Oklahoma, but Simmons has stop-and-go ability akin to NFL HOF’er Barry Sanders.
- Dynamic playmaker with elite feet who can make defenders miss in a phone booth
- Can turn mundane plays into big gainers with gamebreaking speed, clocked at an 11.74 in the 100m in April 2026
