About Peyton
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Dual-threat quarterback who can extend plays with mobility while staying focused on making the right read and delivering accurate throws. I take pride in protecting the football, staying calm under pressure, and keeping the offense on schedule. I’m comfortable attacking all levels of the field, especially the deep ball, and I work hard to build timing and chemistry with my receivers.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m competitive, disciplined, and always looking to improve. I take preparation seriously and try to lead by example through work ethic and consistency. I enjoy studying the game, learning from coaches, and pushing myself to get better every day. My mindset is team-first — doing whatever it takes to help the team succeed and staying composed in tough situations.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I run winter and spring track in addition to football, which helps me develop speed, conditioning, and discipline. I also focus on improving my performance in the classroom and take pride in balancing academics with athletics.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Playing quarterback has helped me develop leadership and communication skills. I work to build strong relationships with my teammates, especially receivers, by organizing extra throwing sessions and working on timing and chemistry outside of practice. I try to lead by example with preparation, effort, and staying positive during competition.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of my biggest challenges has been continuing to improve while competing at a high level and balancing football, track, training, and school. It has taught me discipline, time management, and how to stay focused on long-term goals. I use competition and adversity as motivation to keep working and developing as a player and teammate.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a competitive football program where I can continue to develop as a quarterback, learn from great coaches, and contribute to a team-first culture.
